Leaf of Lórien was founded by brothers Elijah and Enoch Scott, who took their love for old things and making stuff and turned it into their most successful business venture yet. When Elijah and Enoch started Leaf of Lórien they were 13 and 11. As fans of J.R.R. Tolkien and The Wingfeather Saga, as well as having a great appreciation for history and old ways of doing things, the Brothers Scott were very interested when some friends showed them the cloaks their mother had made. The Scotts decided to make their own. They made many in different colors, and when their homeschool group had a craft fair, they decided to make a lot more cloaks and sell them. They were an instant success. The brothers continue to make and sell cloaks, as well as other products they developed later.

Enoch likes to work with his hands, and does most of the manual labor, operating an old sowing machine that makes him mad. It constantly breaks, or the thread tension is inconsistent, and he frequently has to yell it into submission. It's not your ideal sowing machine, even though he can force it to work. Most of the time.
When not sewing cloaks or playing piano, Enoch works on writing a five-part fantasy epic about a land called Thranal. Enoch likes the Lord of the Rings--even though he's never read it--but not as much as his brother, who he thinks is way over obsessed. He doesn't like his sowing machine though.
